 No cuts & nice that there are two

I was glad that this came as a pair since a great deal of seem to come with one. The original time I went to use them I only put one on figuring there was no way to cut the other hand that was keeping the knife and they looked like they would be difficult to clean. About ten seconds later with my new very sharp Mundial 5100 Series 6-Inch Boning Knife, Black sitting on the counter I brushed up versus it and cut the hand that was not gloved! Yes, it is nice to have two! And when handling a lot of meat it likewise provides a little amount of shelter from the cold. I tend to buy in bulk and cut up and freeze ~30lbs in one sitting so my fingers get cold. I likewise feel I get better grip on the meat with these on.
The only thing I don’t like is that they are hard to clean without putting in the washer. If I wanted to use them each day this would be difficult so as luck would have it I tend to do all my cutting at once but still run into what to do with them if I am not ready for a suitable load of laundry (I would only wash them with towels not clothes and even then I scrub them with a dish crush and soap before I put them in). If you handle raw meat with them the weave ends up with meat packed in there!
Also- I did a test by putting a grape in one of the fingers and tried cutting it. I did not want to demolish the gloves so I did not actually try to cut through- I suspect I could- but I ran the knife all over as I might when slicing and it did not go through. There have also been some accidental brushes where I recognise I would have been cut and was not so they unquestionably help. I doubt they are going to aid in situations with great strength but for basic slicing and de-boning they are very helpful!

There are two gloves that come in this purchase. I am tall, medium frame female and the medium size glove fits a bit loose nevertheless I wouldn’t go for the littler size. My husband wears them too and it fits him. He is when it comes to 5’8″ medium frame. It doesn’t matter how careful you may bit with a mandoline, your hand will slip and you may cut yourself. I eat a lot of dissimilar raw foods and cut a lot of respective produce. A MUST BUY FOR MANDOLINE USERS. SAVE YOUR HANDS.

I tried it right after opening the box

I brought my very sharp knife and tried it on the glove directly. Of course, my hand wasn’t in there because I wanted to test it first. Guess what? It is amazingly prevent the knife from getting through. I love it and I gonna keep it forever.
