4Good lowpriced classical
By chalupa2000
I purchased this more on a whim for $100 when it was on a each and everyday deal. I had been wanting to add a classical guitar to my arsenal. While sure it’s cheap, it doesn’t feel cheap. The exterior is actually well crafted and I love the natural non shiny look, it kind of looks like a great deal of of the Martin models in that regards. There were a couple slight blemishes here and there, but not one thing to shake a stick at. Overal it feels in truth comfortable in the hands, altho it seems like the upper edge where my arm rests cuts into my arm more so than a great deal of of my other guitars. This could be a problem with my playing style, or the body has more friction than I’m used to since it’s not glossy. It’s not like it causes pain after you’re done playing, but just may affect ease while playing.

As far as the sound, I actually like it. I don’t think it’s as warm sounding as in all likelihood the more elite guitars out there, but it is still beauteous warm. So far from what I may tell the intonation is gorgeous much right on, I’ve went up to around the 7th or 8th frets and didn’t listen anything wrong. Perhaps when I get home I’ll test the 12th frets and see for sure, and perhaps update this. It did take awhile for the strings to stretch, but as I’m comparatively new to nylon strings, I’m assuming this is normal, or because they are the stock strings that are probably cheaply made. But now that they’ve stretched, it’s staying in tune much longer and sounds great.

Would I have purchased this guitar at $170, probably not. But I think it’s in all likelihood worth that. For $100, I think it was a great deal and am very happy with the purchase.

5Great instrument for the price
By Krista O
I am not an expert on guitars and purchased this for my son. Turns out he wanted an acoustic, not a classic guitar but he has adapted to using it. I gather it takes a while for the tuning to settle and now that it’s more or less broken in, it’s keeping the tuning well. It’s a gorgeous sounding instrument and the quality of the workmanship is great. For the hot deal price, it was an magnificent value.

4Good student instrument
By David J. Smith
Appears to be well made (I’ve not in truth come all over a classical guitar that I’d give a second look to that wasn’t)
I’ve not in truth tuned this guitar yet, but I suspect that it has a beauteous mellow tone from tapping the body.
Should be a good student instrument.
Compared to my Tatay I prefer the Tatay face color (this one looks a bit sunburned). Unfortunately, I loaned my Tatay to my oldest daughter and a couple of her school “friends” got into an argument and split the face – so I necessitated a alternate – this is it.
