 Great price for great sound

This is my second Alvarez. After 30 years twanging on my faithful 5222 I decisive I wanted more sound, more comfortable playing and a killer look. The AD511SB was a perfective fit. Rosewood back and sides with a solid spruce top and a rosewood bridge were just the starters. This guitar is easy to play, stays in tune and has a deeper longer sustained tone than my 5222. The white pearl trim around the edges add a cool touch. For me though, it is the sound and ease of play that makes this guitar. I’m not a pro so I may only tell you that moving around the fret board is a lot more comfortable than on my 5222 and the guitar sustains the tone until tomorrow. I would commend this guitar to any individual moving out of the “student” grade guitars to the next step.
